Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of the apartments at Casa de Ribes — Local Accommodation, located in Rio Caldo, Gerês. By making a booking, the guest declares that they know and accept the conditions below.
1. Bookings
Bookings can be made online through the booking engine available on this website, or by direct contact. A booking is only considered confirmed after availability and the corresponding payment have been validated, under the terms indicated during the booking process.
2. Payments
Payment terms (amount, deposit and balance) are shown at the time of booking. Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
3. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in and check-out take place at the times communicated at the time of booking. Different times may be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
4. Cancellation policy
The applicable cancellation conditions are those indicated at the time of booking. We recommend reading these conditions carefully before confirming.
5. Occupancy and house rules
- The number of guests may not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for each apartment;
- Parties or events are not permitted without prior authorisation;
- Please respect the peace of the neighbourhood, especially at night;
- Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments;
- Pets are only allowed with prior authorisation.
6. Liability and damages
The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the apartment or its contents during the stay. Casa de Ribes is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of guests’ personal belongings.
7. Local Accommodation
The apartments are registered as Local Accommodation under numbers 101099/AL and 168016/AL.
8. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be settled by the courts of the district where the property is located, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
